We are so excited to announce that John has been selected as one of 15 national finalists in a grant opportunity from StreetShares called the Burt Williams Memorial Veteran Small Business Award. SCC stands a chance at winning a grant of $25,000, $15,000, or $10,000 and garnering national recognition for our area… but we need to gather enough votes to get into the top 3.
As you can imagine, winning a grant of this magnitude would make a huge difference to SCC– it would give us the chance to make some improvements to our shop, expand so we can better serve our community, and be able to do some innovating things we’ve been dreaming about.
